Inspired Stamps Layers on a Card

Hello and welcome here!  I hope you are enjoying fine weather where you are!  Did you enjoy the New Releases last week at Inspired Stamps? This week the DT is sharing creations with Layers.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
I found THIS card made by Amy Sheffer which was based on a Sketch, and designed the card you see here.  I wanted to try the chalkboard technique, and although this isn't the best example of it, I still like how it turned out, so I kept it.  I used Inspired Stamps Labelmaker Verses for the sentiment, I used white embossing powder, and coloured selected words and boxes with Copics.

Inside:
Recipe:  Inspired Stamps SS-Labelmaker Verses & Tags, PP-American Crafts The Color of Memories, Crate Paper Story Teller Trademark & My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Dolled Up "Living" Blooms, CTMH Ink-Indian Corn Blue & Black, DW Drop Ink-White, Bazzill CS-aqua & black, VersaMark, White Embossing Powder, Black Baker's Twine, Foam Squares, October Afternoon Button, Spellbinder's Labels 28, Copics-BG15, B95, YR24.

Heartfelt Creations Decorative Chateau Gate Card

Hello and welcome here!  It's time for more Heartfelt Creations inspiration from the DT.  Last week HC released the Sun Kissed Collection and I chose to use some of it again this week.

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
On the blue paper there are flowers along the top and bottom of the patterned paper, I cut my paper to include them along the bottom of my card and then I stamped and cut out more flowers to give it a 3D look...the flower die matches the paper in size perfectly.  The corner heart pieces I fussy cut from the top of the Chateau Gate die:)

Opened:
I cut out a circle to use as a mask and sponged Distress inks onto Paper Temptress Gold Sparkle CS...and there is a real pretty sparkle in the gold CS that the camera doesn't pick up.

Here's a view of the layers.

 Inside:
I like to decorate the inside of my cards as well, and the Sun Kissed Collection has some real pretty flower stamps available, the verse is from the Hope In The Lord stamp set.

Copics Used:
Petals - B52, E41 (I used E41 to tone down the blue), 0
Centers - YR12, YR14
Edges not covered by stamp - B97, W5
Leaves - YG93, YG97

Recipe:  HC PP-Sun Kissed Collection, Paper Temptress CS-Heavenly White, Epic Black & Gold Sparkle, Bazzill CS-Fourz Palo Verde, HC SS-Sun Kissed Fleur Set, CTMH Ink-Black, Distress Inks-Spiced Marmalade, Fired Brick & Scattered Straw, HC Dies-Decorative Chateau Gate, Sun Kissed Fleur Die & Sun Kissed Gift Ensemble Die (vine), Copics, Foam Squares, Pearls.  Card Inside:  CTMH Ink-Indian Corn Blue & Black, HC SS-Sun Kissed Fleur Swirls & Hope In The Lord.

Large Altered Clothespins

Hello, and welcome here.  Just a quick post to list the large clothespins that I sold at the Craft Show (yes, way back in November).  The clothespins I found in the $1.50 bins at Michaels, they already come painted and I add some paper and ribbon.  They're great as a photo holder or recipe card holder etc. You can see that I have alot of fun deciding how to decorate them:)

Clothespin Size:  1" x 4.5"

Cuttlebug Mania Birthday Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge

Hello and welcome here!  It's our first May challenge for Cuttlebug Mania and it's a Birthday Tic-Tac-Toe challenge!

Challenge - Birthday Tic-Tac-Toe
For a chance at winning an awesome prize, link your creation over at Cuttlebug Mania.
Don't forget to let us know how you used your Cuttlebug!

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"

Here's the Tic-Tac-Toe

I used the diagonal Sentiment - Embossing - Banner.  I found an older TESC Sketch I followed, and I embossed the pennants.  I had plans to add a die shape for the sentiment but I wasn't satisfied with the look, so I ended up using only 1 Cuttlebug item on my card...shocking, I know, lol.

Inside:

I added foam squares behind the pennants, and I folded the sentiment and added a foam square behind it too.

Recipe:  PP-My Mind's Eye Howdy Doody "Like" Wild Flower Paper, CTMH CS-Ponderosa Pine & White Daisy, Bazzill CS-cream, CTMH Ink-Juniper & Black, CTMH SS-Quick Cards-Butterfly & Say It In Style, Verve SS-Wishing You, Sizzix EF-Raspberry Frame, Yellow Baker's Twine, Foam Squares.

Cuttlebug Items Used:
Sizzix Raspberry Frame Embossing Folder

I hope you can join us for the Birthday Tic-Tac-Toe

Mad 4 Markers One for the Girls

Hello and welcome here!  Actually, I am not here, I'm enjoying some time away at a Crop so hopefully this has posted when it should and you are reading it now. It's a new month and that means it's a new Mad 4 Markers Challenge, this month the challenge is One for the Girls, anything for a female will fit the bill.

Challenge - One for the Girls
If you love Copics, why don't you join the Mad 4 Markers Challenge this month!

You have until the end of May to enter a project coloured with Copics.

There's a prize to be won!!

Card Size:  4.25" x 5.5"
I used the digital image called Flora found at Funky Kits.  She's so pretty, even before colouring her up, and the great thing is that the shading is already on the image to help you along in your colouring.  I try to keep my cards a little more simple so that it doesn't overpower the image that I took the time to colour.

Skin - E000, E00, YR00, R12
Hair - YR30, YR31, Y32, YR24
Eyes - B14
Dress - V22, V28
Flower Greenery - YG45 (& Fuchsia Flower Soft)
Ground - W0, W1, W3
Sky - BG0000
